The Hybrid Revolution

RMC’s signature move is resurrection: Iron Gwazi was the rotting Gwazi woodie, Steel Vengeance was Mean Streak, Twisted Colossus was Colossus, and New Texas Giant — the 2011 ride that started it all — was the Texas Giant. The I-Box steel track keeps the wooden structure’s character while allowing inversions, overbanks, and ejector airtime wood could never survive.

The ground-up woodies matter too: Outlaw Run (2013) proved RMC could make timber itself do barrel rolls, and Lightning Rod launched a wooden train up a hill at Dollywood.

Raptors and a Cave

The single-rail Raptor track fills the list’s second half — Jersey Devil, Wonder Woman Flight of Courage, RailBlazer, Stunt Pilot, and the original Wonder Woman Golden Lasso — narrow monorail coasters that snap through transitions like nothing else in the industry.
