Our Story

ThrillZing went online in 2000, the summer Millennium Force opened at Cedar Point. It was built by hand in Dreamweaver and evolved from there.

  • 2000–2001: Photo galleries by park, the first special feature (a thrill-seeker’s guide to Cedar Point) and the ThrillTalk forum.
  • 2002–2004: The ThrillZinger e-zine, a news page, a leaderboard and the ThrillZing Network of sister sites.
  • 2005–2006: The blue years: a full rebuild with coaster profiles and a wallpaper of the week.
  • 2007–2013: Quiet years spent sketching bigger ideas, including a search engine for theme parks, with a brief “ThrillZing is BACK!” relaunch in 2011.
  • 2014–2019: Est. 2000: a fresh start as a blog about new rides, openings and trip reports.
  • 2020–2024: For the THRILL of It: the scope grew to stadiums, concerts and more.
  • 2025–today: The guides, news, road trips, app and photo archive you see now.
