Photo License

Every original ThrillZing photo on this site is free to use under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 license (CC BY 4.0). That covers the ride photo archives on our coaster guides, the standalone photos on our Photos page, and park and event sets like HalloWeekends. Use them on your site, in a video, in print, or commercially. You only need to give credit.

How to credit

Name ThrillZing and link to the page the photo came from. Any of these is fine:

  • Photo: ThrillZing (CC BY 4.0), linked to the ride guide or photo page
  • In video or print, where a link is not possible: Photo: ThrillZing.com

If you crop, edit, or combine a photo, say so in the credit, for example Photo: ThrillZing, cropped. Do not imply that ThrillZing endorses your work.

What is covered

Photos credited Photo: ThrillZing in their caption. Each one also carries this license in its metadata and in the page’s structured data, which is what search engines use to show the license in image results. Most of the archive was shot on our own visits between 2000 and today, and the caption on each photo gives the date.

What is not covered

  • Photos credited to someone else, such as Wikimedia Commons contributors. Those carry their own credit line and license in the caption, and you must follow that license instead.
  • The ThrillZing name, logo, and site design.
  • Any photo without a ThrillZing credit.

Higher resolution and other uses

The files on the site are sized for the web. If you need the full-resolution original, want to use a photo without a credit, or have a question about a specific image, email info@thrillzing.com with a link to the photo.
