Equinox Opens Its Second Global Hotel at Saudi Arabia’s Amaala Resort
Wellness brand Equinox has opened its second hotel worldwide — and its first outside the U.S. — at the Amaala destination on Saudi Arabia’s Red Sea coast, per blooloop. The 128-room Equinox Resort Amaala was designed by Foster + Partners with interiors by Rockwell Group and includes a 1,602-square-metre spa built around the brand’s Equinox X Circuit recovery experience. It’s part of Amaala’s broader plan for more than 1,600 hotel rooms across nine resorts.
Toverland Opens Halloween Season With What It Calls Europe’s Largest Halloween Experience
Dutch theme park Toverland kicks off its Halloween season on October 3 with 17 family-friendly Halloween Days and 13 Halloween Nights, an event the park is billing as Europe’s largest, according to Amusement Today. Halloween Nights will feature 170 scare actors across six scare zones and six haunted experiences, plus a new 7-hectare corn maze called Entwined: The Maze. Each Halloween Nights evening closes with fireworks at 10:45 p.m.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day is projected to add roughly $21 million over the four-day Labor Day weekend, which would push its domestic total to around $921 million, per WDW News Today. Play-by-play announcer Jacob Tobey is back with the San Antonio Spurs after being removed from the role in July 2026 following an affair allegation, according to Front Office Sports. Tobey announced his reinstatement on social media on September 4, saying he thanks the Spurs for “allowing me time to step away to sort out issues in my personal life.” The Spurs organization has not commented on the decision.
