Allianz Stadium is the home ground of Juventus FC in Turin, Italy, opened in September 2011 on the site of the demolished Stadio delle Alpi. Known as Juventus Stadium until Allianz acquired naming rights in 2017, it was the first stadium in Italy to be owned outright by a football club rather than a municipality.

The Matchday Experience
Allianz Stadium was designed without a running track or other buffers common at older Italian grounds, packing the stands tightly around the pitch for an intense atmosphere. The design, credited to architects including Gino Zavanella and car designer Giorgetto Giugiaro, emphasized clean sightlines and full accessibility, making it the first Italian stadium built without architectural barriers.
The venue opened with a friendly against Notts County on September 8, 2011, a nod to the English club that supplied Juventus’s original black-and-white striped kit in the 1900s. Luca Toni scored the stadium’s first-ever goal in that match.
Hosting Continental Finals
Since opening, Allianz Stadium has been trusted with some of European football’s biggest occasions, including the 2014 UEFA Europa League Final, the 2021 UEFA Nations League Finals, and the 2022 UEFA Women’s Champions League Final. Its Category 4 UEFA rating, the governing body’s highest classification, reflects the quality of its facilities for elite competition.
