Judge Dismisses Charles Oakley’s Assault Claims Against Madison Square Garden
A federal judge has dismissed Charles Oakley’s assault and battery claims against Madison Square Garden for a third time, according to Front Office Sports. Oakley sued after a February 2017 incident in which he said MSG security guards pushed him to the ground during a Knicks game; Judge Richard Sullivan ruled that video and eyewitness evidence contradicted his account. Oakley’s attorneys said they intend to appeal the nearly nine-year-old case to the Second Circuit.

Henderson Companies has appointed Bridget Lowe as convention center practice director and promoted Jason Kartak to entertainment practice director within its venue sector, according to Pollstar. Lowe brings 15 years of architecture experience, while Kartak, a former touring engineer who joined Henderson in 2023, will lead work spanning performing arts centers, amphitheaters, and theaters.
Eric Prydz to Headline Club Darc’s Halloween Season Opener
Eric Prydz will headline the first show of Club Darc’s 2026 fall season on Halloween night, October 31, at Shed A at Pier 48 in San Francisco, per Pollstar. The show marks Prydz’s Club Darc debut and is part of his fall North American tour, with support from Tiga and a Kelly Lee Owens DJ set. Tickets go on general sale August 21 following artist and venue presales.
