Riders grab a foam mat, climb the tower — its yellow-canopied crown is visible across the San Gabriel Valley — and launch down one of two parallel flumes. The 600-foot course sweeps through banked curves before straightening into the braking run, with the head-first position making 35 mph feel considerably faster. The park requires riders to be at least 48 inches tall and under 300 pounds. Because there are two flumes, it doubles as a race: call your lane at the top.
