Kia Center is the downtown Orlando arena that has served as the home court of the NBA’s Orlando Magic since it opened in October 2010. Built as part of a broader effort to revitalize downtown Orlando, the venue replaced the aging Amway Arena (formerly the Orlando Arena) and quickly became the anchor of the city’s growing entertainment district.

From Amway Center to Kia Center
The building opened in 2010 as Amway Center under a naming-rights deal with the Michigan-based Amway Corporation, whose founding DeVos family also owns the Orlando Magic. In December 2023, the venue was renamed Kia Center as part of a new naming-rights agreement with Kia America, marking the arena’s identity shift more than a decade after it first opened its doors.
