Inter&Co Stadium sits in the Parramore neighborhood of downtown Orlando, Florida, serving as the dedicated soccer home for Orlando City SC and the Orlando Pride. Built specifically for soccer rather than converted from another sport, the venue opened on February 24, 2017, with its first competitive match on March 5 of that year, a 1-0 win for Orlando City over New York City FC.

The $155 million stadium was designed by Populous and built by Barton Malow, seating about 24,453 fans in a tight, grass-surfaced bowl meant to keep supporters close to the action. Since opening, the venue has carried three different names tied to sponsorship deals: Orlando City Stadium, then Exploria Stadium starting in 2019, and Inter&Co Stadium since the Brazilian-American bank took over naming rights in January 2024.

A Stadium Built for One Sport

Unlike many American stadiums shared with football programs, Inter&Co Stadium was purpose-built for soccer, with a grass pitch measuring about 120 by 75 yards tucked close to the stands. The supporters section known as ‘The Wall’ holds roughly 3,811 fans in a safe-standing area, giving the venue one of MLS’s louder atmospheres on matchdays.

The grounds broke in October 2014 and the venue was privately financed by Orlando City’s ownership rather than the city of Orlando, a point team officials highlighted when the project was announced in 2015.

A Memorial Woven Into the Seats

Since the stadium opened, 49 rainbow-colored seats in the stands have honored the 49 victims of the June 2016 Pulse nightclub shooting, which took place just a few miles away in Orlando. For the tragedy’s tenth anniversary, the club added another 49 covered seats as part of an expanded tribute, keeping the memorial a permanent part of the gameday experience rather than a one-time gesture.
