Honda Center is a multi-purpose arena in Anaheim, California, located about three miles from Disneyland at 2695 East Katella Avenue. It opened on June 17, 1993, with an inaugural concert by Barry Manilow, and has served as the home of the Anaheim Ducks of the National Hockey League ever since.
Designed by HOK Sport (now Populous) and built at a cost of roughly $123 million, the arena was originally known as the Arrowhead Pond of Anaheim until Honda acquired the naming rights for $60 million in 2006. The venue is best known as the site of the Ducks’ 2007 Stanley Cup championship, clinched in a 6-2 win over the Ottawa Senators.
