ProSlide and Aqualibi unveil ATRIUM for the TornadoWAVE 60
ProSlide launched ATRIUM with Aqualibi, the indoor water park at Walibi Belgium, at IAAPA Expo Europe 2026 in London, according to blooloop. It is a dome-shaped structure that lets riders leave the building on a TornadoWAVE 60 and return inside, with natural light overhead. The first ATRIUM is set to enhance Waikiki, Aqualibi’s TornadoWAVE ride, and Aqualibi says it hopes to use the structure to improve energy efficiency on the way to net zero carbon emissions by 2030.
Trader Sam’s staircase closes as patio seating grows at Disneyland Hotel
Per WDW News Today, the exterior staircase leading toward Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar at the Disneyland Hotel is now closed. Additional seating near the outdoor fireplace has reopened. Trader Sam’s and Tangaroa Terrace both remain open while the outdoor work continues.
24 Indoor opens its first three Monkey Town venues in the UK in October
24 Indoor will open its first UK venues under the Monkey Town name in October 2026, according to Amusement Today. Kirkby opens Oct. 18, Liverpool (in the former Yellow Sub site) on Oct. 21 and Romford on Oct. 25. The venues pair large play structures with interactive technology, baby and toddler areas, cafés and pre-bookable birthday parties.

Vietnamese developer Sun Group has appointed Populous to design the 70,000-seat National Stadium and the 18,000-seat Arena at the Rach Chiec National Sports Complex, Sports Venue Business reports. Manchester United’s annual loss widens despite record revenue
Manchester United’s annual net loss grew by almost one-third to £43 million ($57 million), even though revenue set a record, according to Coliseum. The figures were announced on Sept. 23. The club expects revenue of between £740 million and £760 million in the current financial year.
Ryan Smith says he will push ‘aggressively’ for a Utah MLB team
Ryan Smith, owner of the Jazz and Mammoth, told the Front Office Sports podcast Portfolio Players on Sept. 24 that he plans to be aggressive in pursuing an MLB expansion team, per Front Office Sports. He said his group does not do much publicly, and that he does not think that is how expansion really gets done. The report adds that the Larry H. Miller Company has identified a possible stadium site.
