Walmart AMP, formally the Walmart Arkansas Music Pavilion, is an outdoor amphitheater in Rogers, Arkansas, located in the Pinnacle Hills area just off I-49. It began in June 2005 as a semi-permanent venue called the Arkansas Music Pavilion before moving to its current permanent home, which opened June 7, 2014, with a performance by Blake Shelton and Hunter Hayes.
Walmart purchased the venue’s naming rights in early 2014, and the amphitheater is operated by the Walton Arts Center Council. With a capacity of about 11,000 fans across covered pavilion seating and an expansive lawn, it is the largest amphitheater in Arkansas and has consistently ranked among the top-selling amphitheaters in the world according to Pollstar.

The Concert Experience
Walmart AMP combines a covered pavilion with reserved seating and an open lawn for general admission, a layout designed so no seat sits too far from the stage. A covered plaza over part of the lawn, added during a venue expansion completed in spring 2020, gives more concertgoers shelter from sun and rain while keeping the open-air feel that defines the amphitheater experience.
From Local Pavilion to National Stage
What began in 2005 as a modest semi-permanent music pavilion grew quickly, and by the time Walmart signed on for naming rights and a permanent facility was built in 2014, the venue had become a major stop on national touring circuits. Its growth reflects the broader rise of Northwest Arkansas as a regional hub for live entertainment.
