The venue opened in 2006 as the Amphitheater at The Wharf. Its first concert was Hank Williams Jr. on May 27, 2006. Since then it has hosted country, rock and hip-hop tours in a beach-town setting.

The Concert Experience
The amphitheater is built with tiered seating so that, in the venue’s words, each attendee has a good view of the stage. Programming covers country, rock, oldies and hip-hop, and the venue promotes its C Spire Concert Series as a fan favorite. Artists who have played there include Kenny Chesney, Eric Church, Luke Bryan, Post Malone, Train, Styx and Foreigner.
Every guest needs an official ticket, whatever their age. Tickets are sold through Ticketmaster or The Wharf box office, and photocopies are not accepted.
Part of The Wharf Complex
The amphitheater is part of The Wharf, a mixed-use development that opened in May 2006. It includes shops, restaurants, lodging, a marina, a movie theater and a Ferris wheel. That means concertgoers can eat, shop and stay within walking distance of the show. The Wharf’s own site says expansion work began in 2024.
