The iTHINK Financial Amphitheatre is a 20,000-capacity outdoor concert venue on the grounds of the South Florida Fairgrounds in West Palm Beach, Florida. Opened on April 26, 1996, it was built at a cost of about $10 million and originally named for its west-facing seats, which let crowds watch Florida sunsets before showtime.
Few venues in the country have changed names as often. Since 1996 the amphitheatre has carried the names Coral Sky, Mars Music, Sound Advice, Cruzan, and Perfect Vodka Amphitheatre before becoming iTHINK Financial Amphitheatre on January 16, 2020, under a sponsorship deal with iTHINK Financial Credit Union. Wikipedia notes it holds the distinction of the most name changes of any amphitheatre in the United States. Operated by Live Nation and owned by the South Florida Fair, it remains one of the region’s busiest year-round concert stops.

The Concert Experience
Set on the South Florida Fairgrounds, the amphitheatre combines a large covered pavilion with a sprawling lawn, giving fans a choice between reserved shade and a blanket-and-cooler lawn atmosphere typical of major outdoor sheds. Its year-round subtropical climate makes it a reliable touring stop even in winter months when many northern amphitheatres are closed for the season.
A Venue of Many Names
The venue’s revolving-door branding traces back to naming-rights deals: Coral Sky, Mars Music, Sound Advice, Cruzan, and Perfect Vodka Amphitheatre all had their turn on the marquee before iTHINK Financial Credit Union’s 2020 deal gave the venue its current name. Despite the changes, the physical venue and its layout have remained largely the same since opening in 1996.
