Dolby Live is a concert theater inside Park MGM on the Las Vegas Strip, built as part of the $90 million redevelopment of the former Monte Carlo Resort and Casino. It opened on December 17, 2016, as Park Theater with an inaugural performance by Stevie Nicks. In October 2021, Dolby Laboratories partnered with MGM Resorts to retrofit the existing theater with a fully integrated Dolby Atmos playback system engineered specifically for the space, and the venue was renamed Dolby Live.
Designed by Marnell Companies, the theater features a 135-by-40-foot stage and an 80-by-40-foot 4K-LED screen within a 150,000-square-foot building. It holds up to 6,400 people for general shows, with capacity trimmed to around 5,200 seats for extended residencies. Owned by MGM Resorts International and operated by AEG, it has become one of the Strip’s most sought-after stops for major touring artists and multi-year residency deals.
