Made famous by the late Jack Hanna, the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium is consistently ranked among the top zoos in the United States — a sprawling, world-class destination in central Ohio.
Regions of the world
The zoo is organized into immersive regions: Asia Quest, Heart of Africa’s open savanna, the Congo Expedition’s gorillas and bonobos, and an aquarium with manatees and sharks. Polar Frontier brings polar bears and Alaskan brown bears up close.
More than a zoo
The complex includes Zoombezi Bay water park and Safari Golf Club, making it an all-day (or all-weekend) family destination. Its conservation programs reach around the globe.
