TQL Stadium opened on May 16, 2021, as the first soccer-specific stadium built for FC Cincinnati, rising in the historic West End neighborhood along Central Parkway. The $250 million venue, designed by Populous, replaced the club’s temporary home at Nippert Stadium and gave the MLS franchise a true soccer fortress in the heart of the city.
Named for logistics company Total Quality Logistics after an April 2021 naming-rights deal, the stadium seats about 26,000 fans and quickly became known for its striking exterior of 387 fins, 287 of which are illuminated with LEDs, a design echoing Cincinnati’s 513 area code. Beyond MLS play, the venue has hosted Gold Cup quarterfinals and FIFA Club World Cup matches, cementing its place among the sport’s premier American venues.

The Ride Experience
Fans entering TQL Stadium pass through a grand staircase facing Central Parkway before settling into one of the most intense atmospheres in American soccer. The Bailey, a dedicated safe-standing terrace holding roughly 3,100 fans, anchors one end of the pitch and drives the stadium’s reputation for deafening crowd noise during FC Cincinnati matches.
At night, the stadium’s exterior comes alive as 287 of its 387 fins light up in sync with goals and game moments, while a large scoreboard keeps fans locked into the action from nearly every seat in the bowl. The main stand was deliberately left uncovered, preserving open sightlines of the downtown skyline.
A Hub for Global Soccer
Since opening, TQL Stadium has grown beyond its role as FC Cincinnati’s home ground, hosting Concacaf Gold Cup quarterfinal matches and games during the expanded 2025 FIFA Club World Cup. The World Football Summit named it Best Venue of 2022, recognition that reflected its design, sightlines, and the energy FC Cincinnati supporters bring to every matchday.
