Fun Spot America to Auction Off Atlanta Park’s Rides and Equipment
Fun Spot America will auction off equipment and assets from its now-closed Atlanta park on October 14, 2026, according to Amusement Today. The online-only sale will include rides, midway games, food-and-beverage equipment, maintenance tools and furnishings from the Fayetteville, Georgia park, which stopped admitting guests on August 2, 2026. CEO John Arie Jr. said the company would rather see the equipment “back in service somewhere than sitting idle.”
Disney Dreamlight Valley’s Keepsake Sea Expansion Brings Jack Sparrow and Merfolk to the Valley
Gameloft has given players a closer look at Disney Dreamlight Valley: The Keepsake Sea, confirming the expansion will arrive in November 2026, according to WDW News Today. The update adds Captain Jack Sparrow, Megara and Milo Thatch, along with a new ability that turns players into customizable Merfolk for underwater exploration. Milo Thatch will guide players into the new content, while Jack Sparrow teaches the basics of sailing and the Pirate Code.

Flyers and 76ers Show Off First Renderings of New Philadelphia Arena
The Philadelphia 76ers and Philadelphia Flyers have released the first exterior renderings of their new arena, designed by Populous and Moody Nolan for the site of the old Spectrum, according to Sports Venue Business. The privately funded venue is scheduled to open in 2030 and will house the NBA’s 76ers, the NHL’s Flyers and a new WNBA expansion team, with Comcast holding the naming rights. Its design uses stacked bands meant to echo the shape of the original Spectrum. Música Mexicana duo Los Gemelos De Sinaloa have announced a 10-date “Gemeliza Tour” of U.S. theaters and ballrooms, kicking off October 23, 2026 in Phoenix and running through December, according to Pollstar. The run, mostly promoted by Live Nation, follows the September 24 release of the duo’s new album, The Gemeliza Album.
