The Saints have had two homes since their first season in 1967: Tulane Stadium for eight seasons, then the Superdome since 1975. Hurricane Katrina is the big exception. In 2005 the Saints spent a season on the road, and the Superdome reopened for them in September 2006.
Here is each home in order, with the years the Saints played there, what made it matter and what stands on the site today. Each stadium links to our full guide.

Saints Stadium FAQ
Where did the Saints play before the Superdome?

Where did the Saints play during Hurricane Katrina?
Katrina damaged the Superdome before the 2005 season. The Saints’ home opener against the Giants was moved to Giants Stadium in New Jersey, and the rest of their home games were split between the Alamodome in San Antonio (three games) and LSU’s Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge (four games). After a $185 million renovation, the Saints returned to the Superdome on September 25, 2006, beating the Falcons 23–3.
