Intuit Dome is the home arena of the Los Angeles Clippers, located at 3930 West Century Boulevard in Inglewood, California. Built at a reported cost of around $2 billion and owned by Clippers owner Steve Ballmer through Murphy’s Bowl, LLC, the arena broke ground in September 2021 and opened its doors on August 15, 2024, with a concert from Bruno Mars.

Designed by AECOM, the arena holds about 18,300 fans for basketball and was engineered with concert-grade acoustics, drawing residencies and tour stops from artists like Bruno Mars, Olivia Rodrigo, and Usher. Its most talked-about feature is the Halo Board, a massive double-sided 4K video display suspended above the court, paired with ‘The Wall,’ a 51-row student-section-style block of seating reserved exclusively for the most passionate Clippers fans.

The Ride Experience

Fans entering Intuit Dome pass through a 260,000 square foot outdoor plaza with public basketball courts before reaching a seating bowl designed to keep every fan close to the court. ‘The Wall’ places 51 consecutive rows of general-admission-style seating along the baseline with no suites blocking the view, a layout inspired by European soccer supporter sections like Borussia Dortmund’s Yellow Wall.

Above center court hangs the Halo Board, a double-sided video screen covering roughly 38,000 square feet with 4K resolution and built-in player-tracking overlays. The arena also drew attention for practical touches, including more than 1,100 restrooms, about three times the league average, aimed at cutting bathroom lines during games and concerts.

A Modern Home for the Clippers and Beyond

Beyond the arena bowl, the Intuit Dome campus includes an 85,000 square foot Clippers practice facility, 55,000 square feet of team offices, and a 25,000 square foot sports medicine clinic, consolidating operations that had previously been spread across separate sites. The venue is set to host basketball at the 2028 Los Angeles Summer Olympics and has already welcomed events like the NBA All-Star Game and WWE programming.
